August sees the beginning of the Preserving Legacies workshops and korero. Save the dates and do come out for both talks at the Headwaters at 7 pm. Leslie and Darren have been working hard in the background to think carefully about what our community and area needs to both preserve our environment and be resilient to climate change. Thinking about our dark skies above and protecting our wetlands below. This month we take a look at the dwarf planet Pluto…and what a surprising dwarf planet Pluto turned out to be! Next month we’ll start looking at other surprising objects you can find in the night sky.
